The National Intelligence Academy “Mihai Viteazul” organizes in partnership with „Bogdan Intemeietorul” National Intelligence and Security Institute from the Republic of Moldova, the workshop “Countering Hybrid Warfare: Lessons Learned from Ukraine”

During September 28-29, 2015, “Mihai Viteazul” National Intelligence Academy organizes in partnership with „Bogdan Intemeietorul” National Intelligence and Security Institute from the Republic of Moldova the workshop Countering Hybrid Warfare: Lessons Learned from Ukraine.
The event, which is supported by NATO Science for Peace and Security Program, aim to facilitate the sharing of knowledge on the nature of the conflict, the profile of threats, their consequences and implications for the Central and Eastern Europe countries and the Black Sea region, as well as on the resources deployed both by the states located in the immediate vicinity of the conflict and NATO to solve the Ukrainian problem.
The two day workshop is designed to provide an open framework for information exchange leading to a complex analysis of the Ukrainian conflict and its short, medium and long term consequences over the entire Eastern flank of NATO and its partner countries in the Black Sea region.
The event will bring together 50 experts from different fields and perspectives, including policy-makers, security studies researchers, academia and high ranking officials and experts from NATO member states (Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Poland, Romania, USA), NATO partner countries (Armenia, Republic of Moldova, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Ukraine), and representatives of international organizations.
