SRI participates in NATO's biggest cyber security exercise
28 November 2018
NATO's most important cyber security exercise, and one of the biggest worldwide, is taking place in Estonia between November 26 and 30, 2018.
For five days, the capacity of the Alliance to protect its networks against the increasingly complex cyber attacks is put to the test. This exercise shows NATO's determination to become as capable of defending itself in the cyber space as it is in the air, on land or at sea.
For the sixth year in a row, the Romanian Intelligence Service, through the Cyberint National Center, is included in the management team of the exercise. SRI built its virtual infrastructure and, together with NCIA (NATO Communications and Information Agency) devised the main scenario carried out in NATO's cyber range.
The 11-th edition of the exercise involves more than 700 participants from Allies, NATO partners, industry and academia.
