Selection of the team representing Romania at the European Cyber Security Challenge, 2019

For the fifth year in a row, the Romanian Intelligence Service, together with CERT-RO and the National Association for Information Systems Security, in partnership with Orange Romania, Bit Sentinel, certSIGN, CISCO, Microsoft, Clico, Palo Alto and Emag, organizes the first stage of the (online) selection process for the team representing Romania at the European Cyber Security Challenge, 2019 (ECSC19) on April 6-7, 2019.
Throughout the selection stages, the participants' knowledge will be tested in exercises ranging from web application security, cyber defense, cryptography, network traffic analysis, reverse engineering to public presentation.
In order to help the team selected to represent Romania at the ECSC19, SRI and its partners will organize training sessions aimed at enhancing expertise and develop team spirit.
This year's European Cyber Security Challenge will take place in Bucharest, on October 9-11, 2019. Each participating country will be represented by a team of 10 contestants divided into two age groups: 16-20 years old and 21-25 years old, 5 contestants each.
