''Romanian - American Cybersecurity Partnership'' International Conference

The 2nd edition of the International Conference "The Strategic Romanian-American Cybersecurity Partnership" took place on October 4, 2018, at the Snagov Palace and was organized by the Romanian intelligence Service, through the National Cyberint Center, in cooperation with the United States Embassy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bitdefender, and Microsoft Romania.

The event took place under Romania - US strategic cybersecurity partnership and brought together around 150 participants, Romanian and foreign cybersecurity experts, academics, representatives of the banking, private, and public circles, as well as decision makers in charge with handling cybersecurity incidents.

During the conference, participants approached topical issues of particular importance for the cybersecurity field, as well as the global picture of cyber threats, the national cybersecurity legislation, and the analysis of several cyber attacks.

The event was meant to provide an overall picture on cybersecurity, at a national and international level, prospects and relevant analyses on evolution of threats in the virtual environment, and a good practice exchange on cybersecurity.
