Adrian Ivan is the new rector of MVNIA

Noul rector al Academiei Naţionale de Informaţii „Mihai Viteazul” este domnul profesor universitar doctor Adrian Ivan.

The new rector of “Mihai Viteazul” National Intelligence Academy is PhD Professor Adrian Ivan.

In accordance with the Regulation for endorsing, selecting and recruiting the rector of “Mihai Viteazul” National Intelligence Academy for the 2017-2021 mandate, the result of the selection process for this position was validated by the Senate and forwarded to the head of the Romanian Intelligence Service, who assigned him to office.

Adrian Ivan graduated from the Faculty of History and Philosophy and obtained a PhD in International Relations at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. Moreover, he has held various leadership and administrative positions in those two education institutions. Along his career, he has performed various teaching activities and has co-operated with prestigious universities, both in Romania and abroad. He is the author of numerous books, articles and scientific papers.
