A man suspected of terrorism was expelled from the country

Today, August 2, 2018, the Iraqi citizen FJF, who has ties with a terrorist group operating in the Middle East, was expelled from Romania. The decision was based on information obtained by the Romanian Intelligence Service working in cooperation with the Border Police and the General Inspectorate for Immigrations.
The Service got reliable information regarding the presence in our country of the Iraqi citizen, who had been banned from entering the country since 2016.
The Romanian Intelligence Service stands firm in its mission to prevent and counter any terrorist activities and closely cooperates in this regard with all the institutions in the National System for the Prevention and Countering of Terrorism.
